Christmas Is Coming - 10/16/2024

Place a piece of kraft card measuring 6 1/2 x 4 1/2" inside the Peace On Earth embossing folder and run it through your die cutting machine. 

Pounce your Cotton ink pad over the embossed areas of the card and dry with your heat tool as pigment ink is slow drying and will smudge!!

Adhere a piece of acetate the same size, on the reverse of the embossing folder with red liner tape. 

Adhere foam pads/tape around the aperture, ensuring there are no gaps for the sequins to escape!

Place your sequins in the centre of this decorative paper (from Winter Woodland) trimmed to 6 3/4 x 4 3/4". Ensure the sequins are laying flat or they will get stuck behind the acetate. 

Wipe an anti-static bag over the acetate, peel off the foam tape backing and carefully place down on to the decorative paper. Make sure the foam tape is pressed down firmly to ensure a secure fitting to house the sequins. 

Mat on to kraft card measuring 7 1/2 x 5 1/2" and then on to black card measuring 7 3/4 x 5 3/4". Finally, adhere to the front of your card blank. Pop to one side. 

On a seperate piece of kraft card, stamp this beautiful Poinsettia from the Ho Ho Ho set, with the Cotton ink. Keeping the stamp and card in place, drag some of the Cotton ink out with a paint brush. Re-ink and stamp again to bring back the definition. Dry thoroughly with a heat tool before fussy cutting. Adhere with foam pads in the top right corner of your card. 

Stamp the sentiment with the Cotton ink, on to a piece of kraft card. Dry off before cutting to size, then mat on to black card stock and cut to size. Adhere to the top left of the card. 

Finally, use the Stickles to add a festive sparkle to your card.
