Arctic Circle - 10/15/2024

Use your nesting dies to cut TWO 6 3/4" circles from kraft card. Score across ONE, about 2cm down, and cut a sliver off the bottom. Apply red liner tape ABOVE the score line, as seen here. Adhere the two die cut circles together to create your circular card blank. 

Die cut a 6 1/4" circle from black cardstock and a 5 3/4" circle from white cardstock. 

Smoosh the Ocean and Surfboard ink pads on to your glass mat. Add a little water and "smoosh" the white die cut circle in the ink. Blast dry with your heat tool. 

Stamp the Arctic Circle on to the inky background, in the Midnight ink. 

Wipe over a piece of black card with your anti-static bag before stamping the compass in the WOW sticky embossing ink. Apply the white embossing powder over the stamped image, decanting the excess powder back in to the tub. Get your heat tool good and hot, then heat set the powder. Fussy cut your compass as shown here, ensuring it remains hinged! 

Turn the compass over and repeating the process above, stamp and emboss the sentiment inside, from the Peace Love Joy stamp set. 

Adhere the back of the compass to the centre of the stamped Arctic Circle. 

To finish, mat on to the black die cut circle and then on to your kraft card blank.
